Section 49
Designation of probation officer or parole officer
(1) The Government of Nepal may appoint or designate a person who has worked in community service or rehabilitation as a probation officer or parole officer.
(2) Provisions regarding qualification, service conditions and facilities of probation officer or parole officer as per sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed.
